About the creative process, Pam says “Time and place motivate me. Time of day, time of year, position of the sun. I’m inspired by the motion of water, trees, and grasses. I use color, texture, and movement to reveal what I’m experiencing, remembering, imagining, and feeling. Painting is performance art, a dance of joy. I move around the canvas, and reposition it to see the work from different angles. Acrylics offer the textures and colors I prefer and ease to create. I often mix colors on the canvas.”
